In addition to its amazing caramel taste, a huge difference is its low glycemic index of 35 (the index of cane sugar is 58, the index of brown and white sugar is 64). Coconut sugar is a natural sweetener suitable for weight control.
It gives you energy in your daily activities without sudden increases in blood sugar levels.
The advantage is also the high content of minerals compared to other sweeteners. Compared to brown sugar, coconut sugar has twice the iron content and four times the magnesium content, 10 times the zinc content.
It is a very tasty, healthy, durable and especially natural sweetener, which is also very rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids. It is a purely natural, unrefined fabric prepared by hand and with love.
Thanks to its caramel-like taste, it can be used wherever you can imagine it. It has extensive usability. For example as a sweetener for coffee, tea, cocoa, cocktails, baking ingredients, cakes, ice cream, puddings, substitutes for other natural sugars and syrups, for various desserts, sauces and cakes.
Try its amazing caramel taste when cooking any food where sugar is used and you will do something not only for the remarkable taste, but also for your health.
Coconut sugar is prepared from nectar (sap) of coconut palm (Cocos Nucifera) flowers. The whole production process is illustrated in our beautiful VIDEO
Care for nature is part of our business philosophy. Our products are packed in paper boxes, we print leaflets on paper from recycled waste.
Our main product coconut sugar has been declared the most organic sweetener in the world. Wondering why?
This product is prepared from Cocos Nucifera coconut palms, which are very beneficial for nature. They can grow in places with low water content and still produce high quality nectar. They are known to increase soil quality and cultivate them to improve soil quality. Compared to sugar cane or sugar beet, coconut palms produce 50-75% more sugar per hectare and only 1/3 of water and nutrients are needed.
In addition to producing coconut sugar, this "tree of life" is also known for its further use.
The coconut tree provides not only food, coconut milk and cooking oil. Coconut leaves are used for building roofs, making clothes and mats. Coconut shell is another cool material, being used for handycrafts and decorative items.
The coconut tree, also known as the "Tree of Life", significantly improves the lives of many farmers in the areas where it is grown.
For people who do not live in the tropics, the coconut tree is probably just a synonym for a holiday somewhere in the tropics. But for people living in the tropics, this tree means much more. Indonesians say the coconut tree "has as many uses as there are days within a year."
Please note: please do not confuse the coconut palm from which our coconut sugar is made with the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis or Attalea maripa) from which the palm oil is made. Oil palm is a plant that devastates the environment, because it bears fruit only for a period of about 3-5 years and leaves the soil virtually dead, without nutrients. The planting of oil palm disrupts the entire ecosystem, for example on the islands of Sumatra, Borneo, but also in Malaysia and Thailand.
Our products come from a completely different palm tree, called Cocos Nucifera.
“Direct Trade” is a wonderful business philosophy we have been following for years. We teach and motivate farmers to become independent.
In the production we use ingredients from a group of farmers who follow the rules of organic farming, with which we have been cooperating for years. We have developed a beautiful, long-term relationship with them, based on fair trade, trust and friendship.
We teach, motivate and support farmers for independence and help them become producers and final processors of healthy products instead of selling unprocessed raw materials. In this way, their living conditions have significantly improved.
As part of the social program of the communities in which our products are made, we support orphans and the elderly.
The machine does not give love to the product, but a satisfied person does !!! Our products are not only hand-made but also hand-packed in folded paper packaging. We prefer manual production due to precision at work, the resulting product quality and employment support.
We have been enthusiastically working on the processing of healthy products for years. We pay great attention to the quality of the input raw material, 4-phase quality control during the production process, ... all leading to finest quality of our product. Each of our product has its own expert in a specific product category. Our coconut sugar production team is led by people who were among the first to ever make coconut sugar in crystal form. Our vanilla coordinator has been dedicated to this "queen of spice" for almost 30 years. Selective varieties of coffee are under the scale of coffee plantations which have a broad knowledge of coffee cultivation and processing inherited from generation to generation.
The farms are located on the western, central and eastern part of the Indonesian island of Java.
We love working with the unique exotic ingredients that the fertile volcanic soil in Java has to offer. We work hard to continuously improve product quality, production processes and development of new unique natural products.
We really appreciate that this project has allowed us to meet countless amazing talented people and companies. Working with smiling farmers, customers, shops, cafes, restaurants, chefs, food bloggers, baristas, healthy food specialists, producers of healthy food, desserts and raw cakes is a great gift for us.
The warm feeling in the heart is also worth mentioning. We wake up with a good feeling that we can make people happy and create something that benefits many. Satisfied farmers and the community on the one hand, our customers on the other, who use highest quality products while doing something good for their health.
